A bright wide-angle prime, the Canon EF-mount YN 35mm f/1.4C DF UWM from Yongnuo blends a versatile focal length with an especially bright f/1.4 design. This fast maximum aperture excels in low-light conditions and also offers improved control over depth of field for isolating subject matter. Its optical design incorporates two aspherical elements, which reduce spherical aberrations and distortion, and two low dispersion elements, which minimize chromatic aberrations and color fringing, and individual elements also feature a multi-layer coating to suppress flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color accuracy. A UWM (Ultrasonic Wave Motor) affords notably fast and near-silent autofocus performance and a switch lets you quickly change from AF and MF focusing methods. Additionally, a micro-USB port is integrated in the lens design to permit installing firmware updates.

Wide-angle prime is designed for full-frame Canon EF-mount DSLRs, however can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 56mm equivalent focal length.
