The VM-5 is a professional grade shotgun microphone. It is designed specifically for use with high-quality Digital Video Cameras. The VM-5 exhibits low noise and an unusually wide bandwidth for its size. It is ultra lightweight, yet rugged due to ABS construction. The video microphone is powered by a standard 1.5V battery and offers a low battery LED status indicator and a switchable high pass filter to reduce unwanted low frequency rumble. The VM-5 attaches to any camcorder that has the standard hot-shoe fitting and utilizes a 3.5mm connector for audio output.
